On December 15, 2025, a Russian client visited Harbin Dongan Building Sheets Co., Ltd. to inspect the company’s factory and discuss an industrial building steel structure project. The visit focused on the required steel structure products, manufacturing capabilities, quality control and potential supply arrangements, providing both sides with an opportunity to discuss the project directly.
During the factory inspection, the Dongan team accompanied the Russian client through the production workshops and related manufacturing areas. The team introduced the company’s production processes, fabrication equipment, quality control procedures and the main stages involved in manufacturing steel structure components. The on-site inspection gave the client a direct view of how steel components are processed, fabricated and inspected, while also providing a broader understanding of Dongan’s production organization and project delivery capabilities.
Industrial steel structure projects often involve large numbers of components in different specifications and require close coordination in terms of dimensional accuracy, connections, component identification, production scheduling and transportation. For overseas projects, steel components fabricated at the factory must also be properly packaged, transported and delivered to the construction site. The coordination between manufacturing and subsequent installation is therefore an important consideration during a supplier inspection.
Dongan has long been involved in steel structure, building envelope and cold storage projects, with experience in industrial buildings, warehouses, workshops and other construction applications. For the industrial steel structure project discussed during this visit, both sides exchanged views on the structural concept, component fabrication, production schedule and subsequent supply process.
During the project discussions, the Russian client reviewed the specifications, fabrication capabilities and quality control procedures related to the steel structure requirements. The two sides also discussed project schedules, product supply, export packaging and logistics. Compared with evaluating a supplier only through online documents and photographs, an on-site factory inspection allows a customer to assess manufacturing conditions more directly and identify potential coordination issues at an earlier stage.
For overseas industrial construction projects, manufacturing capacity is only one part of successful cooperation. The ability to complete fabrication according to the project schedule, ensure that components correspond accurately to drawings and installation requirements, and maintain stable transportation and delivery can all affect the progress of construction. The factory inspection therefore served as an important step in confirming the supply conditions for the project.
The visit also strengthened Dongan’s communication with the Russian market. In recent years, the company has continued to follow demand in Russia and other overseas markets for industrial buildings, warehousing facilities and related building systems, while developing long-term relationships through customer visits, exhibitions and project discussions.
Following the visit, both sides will continue technical and commercial discussions as the industrial steel structure project progresses, further confirming product configurations, production schedules and supply arrangements.
