Project type: Large-scale steel structure and building enclosure system project for livestock facility
Project location: Hohhot city, China
Project scale:300,000 ㎡
Project Materials:7,000 tons of steel structure components and 40,000 ㎡ PU edge rock wool sandwich panels
Project Description:
Inner Mongolia Yili/Youran Dairy Farm Project is located in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia, China, with a total site area of approximately 300,000 sqm and consisting of three sub-farm zones. The project involved the supply of approximately 7,000 tons of steel structures for cattle barns and supporting facilities, along with around 400,000 sqm of rock wool sandwich panels for the building envelope system.
Hohhot is characterized by a temperate continental climate with cold winters, significant annual temperature variations, and relatively strong wind conditions, along with defined snow load requirements. In response to these environmental conditions, the project design emphasized structural stability under wind loads, snow load-bearing capacity, and reliable thermal insulation performance in low-temperature environments. The steel structure system enables large-span barn layouts while maintaining overall stability, and the rock wool sandwich panels provide fire resistance and thermal insulation, enhancing durability and performance under cold and windy conditions.
This project demonstrates the company’s capability in integrated supply of steel structures and enclosure systems for large-scale livestock facilities, as well as its experience in applications under cold and wind-prone climatic conditions.
